What is it?
Scrip is a program that can
help Our Saviors raise money - fast. Take a look at the information
below to see what you can do to participate. The initial funding from
the Scrip program is going towards a piano. After the funding for a
piano is complete the Scrip proceeds can be put towards other items. The
possibilities are endless!How does it work?
Participating businesses give their designated
percentage of money to Our Saviors for all the Scrip that we purchase.
As a scrip purchaser, you are not spending any more on your total bill,
it's just that Our Saviors receives the designated percentages, not the
businesses participating in the program. For example, when we buy a $100
card from Hy-Vee, Hy-Vee charges Our Saviors $98 for it. When Our
Savior's sells the card to a member, we receive $100 for it (thus Our
Saviors earns $2 on that purchase).
How can you get started?
Purchase gift cards and certificates at Our
Saviors before you do your shopping. They will be available
Sundays from 9:15 until Noon and Monday - Friday from 8:00 until 3:00.
